Terms & Fees
There is no cost to candidates to register with Campbell, Edgar.
One of the key mandates at Campbell, Edgar is flexibility to meet
the individual requirements of our clients. Therefore the terms and
conditions described here represent only the guidelines for discussion
prior to the undertaking of every search. The exact remuneration
will be determined and confirmed by both parties prior to the beginning
of every search. Our flexibility to meet every client’s needs
in an honest and ethical manner, in addition to our unrivaled expertise
in this market, is what distinguishes Campbell, Edgar in the search
community in Canada.
It is our mandate to provide exactly the services required at reasonable
and competitive rates.
Fee Schedule
Permanent Placement Rates
Charges for all recruitment services are based on a percentage of
the first year's annual salary of the successful candidate. If it is
anticipated that the first year’s salary will include an element
of pay for performance (bonus, commissions, car allowances, etc.),
this is factored into the first year’s anticipated salary at
a level that is agreeable to both parties.
Charges are assessed in one of two ways:
Retainer Option
Most often utilized for senior assignments, the client is required
to pay a portion of the total fee upon confirmation of the assignment,
with the balance due upon completion and the start of the successful
candidate in the position. Depending on the extent and breadth of the
search, any advertising costs may be paid by the client directly under
this option.
Contingency Option
This option provides that no monies are paid to Campbell, Edgar until
the successful candidates is hired. Any advertising and other disbursement
costs are either inclusive of fee or simply billed as part of the invoice.
There is implied within this option that Campbell, Edgar will work
on the search on an exclusive basis. If the search is not completed
due to cancellation by the client, the expenses associated with the
cost of the search to the date of the cancellation will be invoiced
at cost to the client.
RetailTemps Flex Staff Rates
After establishing exact requirements of each assignment, an hourly
rate is quoted for the project. This rate will include provisions for
all employee benefits and Revenue Canada deductions. The client is
billed weekly for Flex Staff hours worked that week.
