If I find work through Campbell Edgar's TempWork / RetailTemps services,
who is my boss?
TempWork / RetailTemps personnel are employees of Campbell,
Edgar Inc. who fulfill temporary assignments within our
client's businesses.
Who pays me?
Campbell, Edgar Inc. pays you through
our back
end partner, The Staffing Edge, a leading provider of payroll / administrative
services in Canada.
When will I be paid?
When you are working on assignment, you are
paid by direct deposit every Friday for the hours you worked and
submitted to us for the week prior.
Are temporary employees eligible
for statutory holiday pay?
As an elect to work employee, temporary workers are not legally entitled
to statutory holiday pay as outlined in the Employment Standards Act.
However, Campbell, Edgar Inc. does offer stat pay as
a benefit if you have been working 13 weeks continously with TempWork / RetailTemps
and if you worked the day before and the day after the holiday.
